Are you suffering from the post-holiday blues? Plan on coming out to help a family in need and have some fun. If you have never been to a Meat Auction, they really can be very entertaining—and you can feel good about helping a family in need.
St Mark Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda will be sponsoring a Meat Auction to benefit the Parish Family on January 31st, 2026. Bobby Parish (36) is undergoing treatment for a rare and in-operable brain cancer. This has put much stress and strain on the family, both financially and emotionally. He is no longer able to work and Sarah, his wife, is no longer able to work either, as she needs to care for her husband and take him to his many doctor appointments as well as care for their 2 year old, Anabelle. The event will be held at Sikora Post, 950 Payne Ave, NT, with doors opening at 6 pm and the first spin at 7 pm. Along with the actual Meat Auction, we will be having a small basket raffle, “Booze Wagon”, Reverse 50/50 as well as a bake sale and pizza by the slice. There are plenty of ways to enjoy yourself.
If you have never attended a Meat Auction, they are really a good time and you can take home some nice cuts of meat! (There will be no cheaper cuts, all quality) We would also appreciate your sharing the information about the event with friends and family so we can have a successful event to help the family.
There are pre-sale of tickets for the “Booze Wagon", and you don’t need to be present to win this. The value of this booze wagon is at least $400. Raffle tickets for the “Booze Wagon” are $10 each or 3 for $25. Tickets for the Meat Auction are $15 each or a table of 8 for $100.
You can contact St Mark Church Office at 716-693-3715 for further information or to purchase a ticket for either the Booze Wagon or the Meat Auction.
